Meet  Your Advocate:

Shanice is a  special education advocate who has been passionately advocating for children since 2018. Her  journey as an advocate began when she started advocating for her own son’s IEP. Through this experience I realized that there were numerous aspects of the IEP process that so many parents and families are unaware of. Shanice, with the support of an attorney, successfully advocating for non-public placement. It is important to note, that the journey for advocating for her son is far from over. Recognizing this need to bridge the knowledge gap, Shanice is dedicated to helping others be the best advocate for their child. She is an invaluable resource for parents, and caregivers, believing that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed and thrive in their educational journey.
